Part 1. ( 25 %)
Choose a charity or community service organisation.
Analyse 4 current media texts which promote your chosen organisation in the wider community.
Detail the strengths and weaknesses of each.
With the results of your analysis prepare 4 new media texts (draft stage).
Present these texts to the class and explain why you think they are more effective. Gather feedback from the class in regard to your texts. (record the presentation, use feedback sheets etc...)

Using the information gained, create and develop 4 texts (publishable standard) for both the print and broadcast media using appropriate structure, style and language.

Draft a text
Post the text on the class blog (AACMACT) along with a breakdown of who you perceive the audience to be (demographic information – age, sex, religion etc...)
Post a link to a survey site (survey monkey) where you have posited at least 5 focus questions in regard to the effectiveness of your text.
Seek responses (via the survey site) from at least 5 of your classmates.

With the information gathered you will rework your text and draft a report (HARD COPY) for your ‘client’ that outlines its effectiveness in relation to the target audience.
